At DC Mobile Grooming, we provide professional mobile dog grooming brought right to your door. Our goal is to make grooming as comfortable, convenient, and stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.

Pricing is based primarily on your pet’s weight and coat type. Additional factors such as coat condition, matting, grooming frequency, temperament, and time required may affect the final price.

All prices listed are starting rates for regularly maintained pets.

Full Groom Pricing

Each full groom includes:

• Bath

• Blow dry

• Brush out

• De-shed, when needed

• Full haircut and styling

• Nail trim

• Ear cleaning

• Sanitary trim, when needed

• Paw pad trim, when needed

• Finishing spray, cologne, or bandana, when available

Some coat types require more or less grooming time depending on length, thickness, shedding, and maintenance needs.

​( Full baths can be added to lion and dragon cuts upon request, we normally do not recommend unless the cat is used to the procedure , due to cats stress levels.)

Custom Pet Hair Dye

Custom pet hair dye styles are available upon request and must be discussed before your dog’s grooming appointment. Pricing varies depending on the design, colours requested, coat type, amount of dye needed, and time required to complete the service.

Custom dye services start at an additional $40 minimum.

We use only OPAWZ pet-safe permanent and semi-permanent hair dye products.

What Affects Grooming Price?

Prices listed are starting rates and may vary depending on:

• Coat length and thickness

• Matting or impacted undercoat

• Grooming frequency

• Breed and coat type

• Temperament and handling needs

• Special requests

• Time required to safely complete the groom

Pets with heavy matting, excessive undercoat, or extra handling needs may require additional time and care. In severe matting cases, we may recommend a comfort shave to prioritize your pet’s safety and wellbeing.

First Groom Appointments

Every pet is different, and first appointments often take longer than future visits.

For your pet first groom with DC Mobile Grooming, we schedule enough time to:

• Discuss your grooming preferences and expectations

• Get to know your pet’s personality and comfort level

• Allow your pet time to become familiar with the grooming environment

• Build trust between your pet and their groomer

• Complete the groom safely and without unnecessary stress

Our goal is to create a positive experience for your pet while ensuring we fully understand how you would like your pet groomed. Because of this, first appointments may take longer than routine maintenance appointments.

After the first few visits, we typically have a much better understanding of your pet’s grooming needs, temperament, coat type, and your preferred style. As a result, grooming times often — but not always — become shorter and more predictable. Once we have established a grooming history with your pet, we can usually provide a more accurate timeframe for future appointments.
